A Presidential decree of the republic of Uzbekistan “On the establishment of the Almalyk state technical institute” (No. PP-279, dated september 8, 2025) has been adopted. According to the decree, the Almalyk state technical institute will be established on the basis of the Almalyk branch of the Tashkent state technical university. All students currently studying at the Almalyk branch will continue their education at the newly established institute, and graduates of the 2025/2026 academic year will be awarded diplomas of the institute in accordance with the established procedure.
